Butts County Progress
Mrs. Julia Duke Died Last Sunday

At the age of 66 Mrs. Julia Duke died at Stark  Sunday morning about four 
o’clock, of a complication of diseases brought on by old age and a general 
breakdown.  Though she had been in ill health all the year her condition was 
not regarded as serious until two months ago.

The funeral was held at Macedonia Monday morning at eleven o’clock, Dr. Robert 
VanDeventer pastor of the Jackson Baptist church, conducting the services.
