Obituary of Mary Jane Diffie Jun 1921 Butts County, GA DEATH OF LITTLE GIRL FOLLOWED BRIEF ILLNESS Friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Diffie sympathize with them in the death of their fifteen-months-old daughter, Mary Jane, which occurred at their home on Third street Saturday night at 9 o'clock. The little one had been ill for less than a week, her passing coming as a profound shock to the family. Ilio colitis was given as the cause of death She was a bright and attractive child and the favorite of the family and all who knew her. Funeral services were held at the family residence Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. J.R. Jordan officiating. The body was taken by her parents and Mr. and Mrs. V.O. Gray, the brother and sister of Mrs. Diffie, to Conway, Ark., for interment. She is survived by her parents and one sister and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D.
