Jackson Argus - May 14, 1897
Mr. D. M. Grant

Mr. D. M. Grant died last Sunday and was buried at Fellowship church on Monday, 
Rev. Harrison Jones conducting the funeral services.  Mr. Grant had been a 
sufferer from droopsy for some time.  He was about 75 years of age and hardly 
anything is too good to be said of his exemplary life.    He leaves a wife and 
one child.  He moved to Georgia from Pennsylvania bout 20 years ago
