Claud Green – Death

Claud Green, a negro 22 years old, in the employ of Lane Hilliard and 
Anderson, was instantly killed Monday morning when a steel bucket from a 
derrick fell on his head.  The blow received was a severe one and death 
resulted immediately.  No inquest was held as a number of persons saw the 
negro when he was killed.
