Middle Ga. Argus – Week of March 8, 1892
Mr. Pittman Lampkin(Lumpkin) father of Mrs. Virgle McLean of this place, died  
at 9 o’clock on Saturday and was laid to rest on Sunday at County Line near 
Jenkinsburg.  He was seventy-six years of age and had been unable to work for 
quite a while.
