Middle Ga. Argus – Week of March 22, 1892
The second death in our lodge since its organization and the first person 
buried with the rites of the order occurred in February last, in the person of 
sister S. H. Preston.  She had lived a widow ten years.  God in his mercy 
spared our sister to see all of her children large enough to be self sustaining 
and to inhue(?)  their minds with pure patritcism(?).  She leaves three boys 
and two girls beside a host of friends to mourn her death.

She was about 40 years old.  No further information.
