E. P. Catchings

On Saturday at 12 o’clock the spirit of Col. E. P. Catchings  took his 
everlasting flight after he had suffered many months from a terrible cancer of 
his face.  His remains were laid to rest by the brethren of the Masonic 
Fraternity at two o’clock on Sunday from the M. E. Church after a funeral 
conducted by Revs. J. H. Eakes and J. W. Burke

MEMORIAM

To the Master Wardens and Members of St. Johns Lodge No. 45 F. & A. M.

Our brother, Colonel E. P. Catchings, who departed life January 14,1893.  He 
came to our Lodge in 1882.  A copy being given to his mother, she being the 
only surviving member of his immediate family
