Middle Ga. Argus – Week of January 20, 1893
On Thursday, Mr. Tom Ellis died from what is called the galloping consumption.  
His remains were buried from the M. E. Church on Friday at 3 o’clock, after 
funeral services by Rev. J. H. Eakes
