IN MEMORIAM

To the Master, Wardens and Members of St. John’s Lodge No. 45 F. & A. M.:

Again death has invaded our sanctum and removed there from one of our 
brothers.  

He was called home after 72 years of labor in vineyard of the Lord.  

No other genealogical information in a long article.

Mr. R. F. Gilmore, a gentleman well known to our readers died at his home on 
Benton Street on Saturday at 11 o’clock after a lingering illness caused from 
the La Grippe, more than a year ago.  Mr. Gilmore was one of our very best 
citizens and was a christian gentleman.  What more can be said of any one?

His remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery on Saturday at 4 o’clock by 
his brethren of the St. John’s Lodge F. & A. M., after a funeral at the 
Methodist church by Rev. Dock Hansford of Monroe County
