Middle Ga. Argus – Week of September 6, 1894
Rev. Wm. L. Weaver, formerly a citizen of our county, who has for several years 
been a resident of Marshall County, Alabama, died last week.  His son, Mr. 
Willie Weaver, of our county, was notified of his father’s serious illness some 
few days ago, and was with the old gentleman when he died.  Many of our older 
citizens were his personal friends and will be sorry to learn of his sad death.
