She had many friends in her community and not an enemy that we know of. She leaves several brothers, to mourn her death, all of whom are grown and married. There is a strange coincidence in her death and that of Mrs. J. W. Childs. They lived not a mile apart, both died of consumption about the same time, and both were buried at Bersheeba church. They were good friends but not related.
