Jackson News – Week of April 19, 1882
Lands Baby Dead

It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lands baby 
of this place, which occurred on last Sunday night, after a long spell of 
sickness.  It was buried in the cemetery Monday evening last.

The grief stricken mother and father can console themselves in that passage of 
scripture that reads, ‘Suffer little children to come unto me for such is the 
Kingdom of Heaven”.
