C. McDonald The remains of Mr. M. C. McDonald, of Atlanta, were brought down this morning and interred at the cemetery. Mr. McDonald was the father of Mr. Jno. G. McDonald and Mrs. W. E. Harp of our city. He had been in ill health quite a while before his death and it was not altogether unexpected. Mr. was for many years a member of the Presbyterian Church and no member of that denomination was more steadfast and loyal than he, ever ready as he was to support its cause and mission. He was of the old Scotch Presbyterian sect who put their church first in the things of this life. In business he was a man of sterling qualities and honest to a fault. The world is better by his having lived among its people. He leaves a wife and four children all grown and married except one, who mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and a devoted parent. The exercise previous to the burial were conducted in the Methodist church by Rev. Mr. Pharr.
