Uncle David Maddox, Dead

Uncle David Maddox, one of Butts county’s oldest and most respected citizens 
died at his home in Iron Springs district this week and was buried at Macedonia 
cemetery near Stark.

He has been a prominent and a useful man for along time.   His children are now 
some of our most valued citizens.  He was industrious, frugal and honest and 
was in very comfortable circumstances before his death.

The Argus tenders its condolence to the bereaved relatives.
