Butts County Progress
Mrs. J. M. T. Mayo – Dead

The death of Mrs. J. M. T. Mayo occurred at her home in Atlanta Sunday morning 
at 7 o’clock.  Death due to cancer.

The remains were brought to Jackson Monday morning and the funeral was held at 
Macedonia at 11 o’clock.  The services were conducted by Rev. J. A. Dodson and 
Rev. Mr. Sharp.

Mrs. Mayo who was 70 years of age, formerly lived in Butts county.  She is 
survived by her husband, two or three sons and other relatives.
