Butts County Progress
Mrs. Jesse McKleroy – Dead

After a long illness and much suffering Mrs. Jesse McKleroy died at her home 
in Pepperton Monday morning at 8 o’clock.  She was 65 years of age and death 
was due to old age and a complication of diseases.

Mrs. McKleroy, who was a Miss Thaxton before marriage, is survived by her 
husband and seven children and several grand-children.

The burial was held at Towaliga church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  The 
funeral will be preached later.
