Mrs. W. N. Nelson – Well known in Butts County Died Thursday 7th

Mrs. W. N. Nelson who died 7th inst. in McDonough was Miss Martha Ann McGough 
a member of the well known McGough family of Butts county and the wife of the 
late Judge W. M. Nelson who for many years was Ordinary of Henry County.  
Judge Nelson and also his wife who was his cousin were descendants of the 
illustrious family that produced England’s great naval here, Admiral Lord 
Nelson of Trafalgar fame who plucked the naval pinions from the wings of 
Napoleon causing his ambitious schemes to finally collapse.  Mrs. Nelson was 
buried in McDonough Cemetery March 8th.
