T. Nelson last week. Mrs. Nelson ad been unwell for several years, and her intimate friends had known for some time past that her condition was serious and that death was a question of only a short time. Mrs. Nelson’s maiden name was Miss Ellen Finley, and she was for years one of Jackson’s most prosperous and popular *milliners/miners (*not for sure about this word). In 1887 she was married to Mr. W. T. Nelson, a North Carolinan After marrying she disposed of her (*) business and moved to Pike county where Mr. Nelson engaged in saw milling and agriculture. They moved back to Jackson about two years ago and here Mr. Nelson died and was buried. The funeral services being conducted by Rev. J. M. Bowden. Mrs. Nelson had been for a long time a consistent and devout member of the Methodist church and was known as a Christian woman possessing many graces of head and hearts. In her death her relatives loss a precious link in the family chain and the community loses one of its cherished members.
