Lucy Handrick

Old “Aunt” Lucy Handrick, colored wife of old man “Ceasor” Hendrick died on 
Monday morning last, her death will be regretted by her own race as well as by 
many white friends, who yet entertain a warm feeling for the old aunties who 
served us so faithfully in the Ante Bellum times.

note:  the name Handrick/Hendrick is spelled both ways in the article
