G. R. Fretwell

The immortal spirit of Mr. G. R. Fretwell took its everlasting flight to the 
great beyond on yesterday at 8 o’clock in the morning.  He had long suffered 
from that dreaded disease consumption, from which he died.  His remains will be 
laid away in the Jackson cemetery today after funeral services at the Methodist 
church, Rev J. H. Eakes conducting the services.  Our sympathies are extended 
to the bereaved ones.
