John Stillwell – Dead

Mr. John Stillwell of Griffin died suddenly of heart failure at his son in 
law’s, Mr. J. M. Ball on Wednesday night, shortly after eating a hearty 
supper.  He had been visiting his relatives in this county for several weeks 
and was in good health up to the moment of his death.  He was well known to the 
people of Middle Georgia and had long been a leading citizen of Spalding where 
he had lived since early manhood.   At the time of his death he was in his 
eighty fifth year.  His remains were carried to McDonough for burial.
