Argus – Week of June 15, 1882 John Aiken The son of Mr. Willey Aiken, was kicked by a mule on Tuesday of last week, while unhitching it from the plow, he was kicked above the ear and his skull broken. He lingered through two days intense suffering and crossed over the river to the land that knows no tear; there we hope he has found rest. Middle Ga. Argus – Week of June 15, 1882 ……………………………………………………………… We are pained to learn that young John Aiken’ son of this county died last week from the injuries received by his mule kicking him.
