Woman Passes to Great Beyond Mrs. Peggy Thomasson, Mother of Mrs. J. T. Gray, of Griffin. Buried Thursday Afternoon. Mrs. Peggy Thomasson, one of Butts county's oldest and most highly esteemed ladies, died at her home near Jackson Wednesday night at 7:30 o'clock after a long illness. She was ninety-three years of age and her long and eventful life was crowned with many good deeds that will live long in the memory of her relatives and friends. The deceased is survived by one son, Thomas Thomasson, of Butts county; four daughters, Mrs. Thornton, of Monroe county; Mrs. Burdette, of Austin, Texas; Mrs. T. O. Woodward, of Duback, La., and Mrs. J. T. Gray, of Griffin. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. R. M. Fletcher and Mrs. W. J. Foster, of Butts county. Funeral services for Mrs. Thomasson were held at her late home Thursday afternoon and the remains were then laid to rest in the family burying ground near the Thomasson residence.
