Butts County Progress
Miss Fannie Wise

The death of Miss Fannie Wise, one of the best known women in the county, took 
place last week at her home in the eastern part of the county, near Pittman’s 
Ferry.  The funeral was held Thursday at Giles’ Cemetery.  Miss Wise was about 
75 years of age and had a large circle of friends.
