Obituary of W.P. Williams 15 Jan 1915 Butts County, GA

MR. W.P. WILLIAMS DIED AT JENKINSBURG SUNDAY
Butts County Progres----Friday, January 15, 1915
			Jackson, Georgia

Mr. W. P. Williams, a well known and highly esteemed citizen, died at 
his home near Jenkinsburg Sunday morning.  He had been in feeble health 
for some time but news news of his death came as a surprise to friends 
in all parts of the county.  He was 62 years of age and had many friends
who admired him for his sterling character.

The surviving relatives are his wife, five sons, Messrs. T.E., W.O., W.A., 
Fred and Ernest Williams, four daughters, Mrs. N.C. Williamson, Mrs. 
J.O. Pressley, Mrs. J.S. Reeves and Miss Myrtice Williams. The funeral 
was held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at Cedar Rock, the services 
being conducted by Rev. J.E. Barron.  Interment was in the  Cedar Rock 
Cemetery.

Notes: The obit left out his daughter Miss. Florrie Williams.

their kindness and sympathy during the sickness and death of our husband 
and father, Mr. W.P. Williams.  To each and every one we stand ready to 
help in any way that we can.  We pray that God will bless and keep each 
one, and to Dr. J.W. Harper we feel and know he was as faithful as it was
possible for a physician to be, for which we extend to him our sincere 
thanks.
