McMichael – Bowden, Wedding
At the home of the bride’s mother in Flovilla at 7 p.m. yesterday Miss Lenora 
Bowden and Mr. W. B. McMichael were united in marriage, Rev. J. E. Pound 
performing the ceremony.
The bridegroom is a splendid young man and one of the best police officers in 
the state.  He was accompanied to Flovilla by the mayor and other city 
officials.  No young lady within her three years residence in Jackson made more 
friends than did Miss Lenora Bowden.  She was the popular operator at the 
Jackson Telephone Exchange and in this capacity met hundreds of people who came 
to regard her most appreciatively.
 They have taken rooms at the residence of J. M. Leach on Third street, and are 
receiving many good wishes from numerous friends.
