These despositions were taken in Butts Co. on August 8, 1850 by Henry Hendrick 
and James W. Swan. Jeese Gunn and George Thompson were deposed regarding the 
estate of John Williamson Jr. of Jackson Co. GA. His father, John Williamson 
Sr. had come to Butts Co. c.1826. His will(1831)left land and slaves to his 
grandson, Nathan C. Williamson, and the balance to his father(John Jr.)

This copy was found in the Georgia Supreme Court file-"Winney Williamson vs 
James B. Nabers et al"-October Term 1853, Georgia State Archives. It is a very 
good transcription of an orignal copy found in the Hargrett Library, University 
of Georgia.
