MARRIAGE LICENSE OF BEAMAN MADDOX AND MARTHA J. EVANS

Thurmon Beamon Maddox and Martha Jane Evans were married in Butts Co. on 
December 19, 1878. Beamon was the youngest son of David and Rebecca(Hunt?)
Maddox. Martha was the eldest daughter of James Marion and Frances(Willard)
Evans. Shortly after the 1880 census, David and Martha Maddox(and young son-
David C. Maddox)moved to Marshall Co. AL. By 1910 Beamon Maddox(twice widowed) 
had returned to Butts Co.
