Lester – Carmichael
The announcement is made that Miss Annie Carmichael of Jackson and Mr. Lovick 
Pierce Lester of Macon will be married on the evening of February 6.
Miss Carmichael is in both person and character one of Jackson’s most beautiful 
young ladies and her marriage is looked to as the crowning social event of the 
season.
Mr. Lester is a prominent young business man with themost amiable prospects in 
the Central city.
In advance a host of friends join in good wishes.

Beautiful Wedding
Was that of Mr. L. P. Lester to Miss Annie Carmichael.
One of the most beautiful wedding of the season occurred at the lovely home of 
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Carmichael Wednesday evening at 8 o’clock when Mr. Lovick 
Pierce Lester of Macon was united marriage to Miss Annie Carmichael.
The parlors were transformed into living beauty by Mr. W. I. Wagner, the 
florist, and on all sides exclamations of delight were enthusiastically indulged 
in.   The wedding march was beautifully rendered by Miss Mary Newton and the 
ceremony was performed by Dr. W. A. Nelson in a manner at once beautiful in its 
simplicity.
There was never a queenlier bride nor a happier bridegroom. 
They left at 12 o’clock for their home in Macon, followed by the good wishes of 
hundreds of friends.
May their honeymoon last always.
