Jackson Argus – Week of December 24, 1896
Tomlinson – Castleburry

Mr. Elmo Tomlinson, a well known and popular young man of this county, was
married on Wednesday afternoon last to Miss Minnie Castleburry, one of the most
charming and accomplished young ladies of Butts county.

Miss Castleburry is a daughter of Mr. W. P. Castleburry, one of the most
prominent farmers in the county.

The marriage ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride’s parents in
the presence of a few select friends.    Rev. N. W. Hurst, pastor of the First
Baptist church, officiated.

The bride was dressed in an elegant white organdy with pearl pasmentry(?) made
by the most fashionable modistes(?).  The popularity of the couple was attested
by a number of handsome and valuable presents.

The wedding march was well played by Miss Flostie White.
