Jackson Argus – Butts County, Week of December 23, 1898
Nickles – Crawford

On the morning of the 21st inst. At the home of the bride’s father, Mr. James 
M. Crawford, Mr. Joe Nickles and miss Bettye Crawford were united in marriage.  
The ceremony was impressively performed by Dr. James F. Edens, field editor of 
the Christian Index.  After the marriage the happy young people left for their 
future home at Maxey’s Ga., where the bridegroom is a resident and a very 
popular young man.

Miss Crawford was one of Jackson’s most lovable young ladies and all who know 
her admire her many charms of manner and life.

The Argus joins many of the friends in offering best wishes.
