Jackson Argus – Butts County, Week of January 6, 1899
Callaway – Dickens

One of the most beautiful home weddings of the season was that which united 
Miss Lizzie Nell Dickens of Locust Grove, and Mr. Robert N. Callaway, of 
Ellenwood, Ga.   The ceremony was performed in a most impressive manner by Rev. 
R.F. Smith at his residence at Locust Grove.

The bride is the lovely and cultured sister of Judge W. F. Dicken, of 
McDonough, and Mr. John Dicken who was recently connected with The Jackson 
Mercantile company, of this place.  Mr. Callaway belongs to one of the best 
families of Henry county and is himself an excellent gentleman.

Quite a number of friends from Atlanta, Griffin and Jackson were in 
attendance.  The presents were profuse and handsome, attesting the high esteem 
in which the contracting parties are held.
