Emerson – Freeman

Griffin, GA- May 24

News has reached city of the marriage of Mr. Monroe M. Emerson of this city to 
Miss Jessie Freeman of Vaughns, which occurred yesterday afternoon.   Mr. 
Emerson is a valued employee of the Central railroad.   His bride is the 
daughter of Mr. Frank J. Freeman of Vaughns and is a beautiful young lady.

Miss Freeman has been to Jackson frequently.   She has relatives here and many 
friends who will join in the hope that she may have a long and happy wedded 
life.
