A wedding which has excited much pleasant comment was solemnized Wednesday evening at 8 o’clock at the Baptist church. The union of Mrs. Tenella Fretwell and Mr. B. F. Moon was one in which every one was interested. Consequently at an early hour the church was full of their friends. Mrs. Margaret Humphreys was at the organ and as Mendelssohn’s beautiful march was played, the bridal party entered the church and was met at the altar by Dr. W. A. Nelson, who impressively performed the ceremony, while the low sweet notes of “Hearts and Flowers” was heard from the organ. The bridal party left the church as the clear, sweet notes Lohengrin’s Wedding March were played. Immediately after the ceremony they left for Charleston, S. C., and other points. They will return in ten days and will be at home in this city to their friends. The bride wore a very handsome and becoming tailor suit, la mode, with baby blue front and trimmed in applique, with gloves to match. Her hat was a handsome fur, with a cluster of dark crimson roses and rich foliage. Mr. and Mrs. Moon are well known and very popular, and, together with their hosts of friends, The Argus extends heartiest congratulations. Among the number of presents received was a handsome silver after dinner coffee service e, presented by the Jackson Mercantile Company, with whom Mrs. Moon has been pleasantly associated the past five years.
