Prof Carle R. Thompson and Miss Mary Gibson were united in marriage. The contracting parties are well known in Butts County and they are both prominent in social circles. Prof. Thompson is principal of the public schools of Forsyth and is one of the coming educators of the state. His bride has many virtues that commend her to a useful life. Last Wednesday evening at 6 o’clock Prof. C. R. Thompson of Forsyth and Miss Mollie Gibson were married at the bride’s home in this place, Rev. C. C. Cary officiating. Prof Thompson is well known in Butts County as a fine teacher and a gentleman of high culture. He is to be congratulated on acquiring such an amiable and lovely wife Miss Mollie, besides being decidedly beautiful, has many lovable traits of character that make her doubly attractive.
