Lane and Miss Hattie McKibben Happily United in Marriage at the Baptist Church On Thursday evening, 27th, at half past eight o’clock , one of the most brilliant weddings ever witnessed in Jackson occurred at the Baptist church. Mr. A. W. Lane, the groom, graduated with high honors at Mercer, afterwards took a law course at the University of Virginia, and is now a rising lawyer in our own little city. Of the fair bride he has won, too much can not be said, for miss Hattie McKibben has friends innumerable, who admire her not only for her many accomplishments and charming manners, but for her pure Christian character nobility of soul. She graduated at La Grange and returned only a few months ago from Boston, after spending a year at the Conservatory of Music.
