Argus – Week of December 7, 1893 Holifield – Ellis A quiet marriage was solemnized at Cedar Rock church, on last Wednesday evening at 3 o’clock; Mr. J. H. Holifield and Miss Eldorado Ellis, of this county, being the highly contracting parties, and O. B. Knowles, Esq, the officiator of the occasion. The groom, Mr. Jabe H. Holifield is a citizen of Jackson, and a young man of energetic qualities and deserving attitudes which go far towards fitting him as a protector of the loveable gentle young lady he has chosen as his partner in life. Miss Eldorado Ellis, the bride, is a daughter of Mr. Jack Ellis, who resided near Cedar Rock, in this county, and is a young lady of many kind traits of character and admiring qualities. The happy couple are now quartered at the residence of Mr. J. H. Holifield in this city, and the Argus joins Jackson in extending them a hearty welcome.
