Middle Ga. Argus – Week of December 14, 1893
Nell – Carmichael

Married on last Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock at the residence of Mr. C. G. 
Nell, of this city, to Miss Eunice Carmichael of Atlanta to Mr. F. G. Shelton 
of Atlanta, were joined in the holy bans of matrimony, Rev. J. H. Eaks 
officiating.

The ceremony was a very impressive one and only the immediate friends of the 
happy couple were present.

The parlor was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and the presents were 
numerous and handsome.

The groom, Mr. Shelton, is a rising young businessman, of Atlanta, of sterling 
worth, and highly cultivated educational advantages, while the bride is a 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Carmichael of Atlanta, Georgia and is a young 
lady of superlative qualities and many attractions

The bride was attired in a neat traveling costume, and immediately after the 
ceremony, the happy couple left the 6:37 train for Atlanta, their future home.
