Kilpatrick –Hightower

On Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock, Rev. E. M. Hooten, officiating, Col. J. D. 
Kilpatrick, formerly a Professor in Jackson Institute, but now a leading lawyer 
in Monticello, was united in marriage to Miss Alma Hightower, a beautiful and 
accomplished daughter of Mr. Dick Hightower of this place.  The marriage was a 
very quiet affair, none but the immediate family witnessed the ceremony.  The 
happy couple left at once for Monticello where they will live in the future.
