Butts County Progress
Johnson – Evans

The marriage of Miss Ottie Johnson and Mr. Paul J. Evans took place last 
Wednesday at the home of the bride in Spalding county.  The ceremony was 
performed by Rev. Mr. Smith, of Macon.  Following the wedding a reception was 
tendered at the bridal party at the home of the groom from 7 to 11 o’clock.  
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Marshall S. Johnson while the groom is a son 
of Mr. John B. Evans.
