Smith, solemnized Wednesday evening at the Methodist church, in the presence of hosts of their friends. The church was artistically decorated in white and green, graceful festoons of ivy and cedar, with white chrysanthemums. Banks of ferns, and palms made pretty background for a white arch, twined with ivy from which was suspended two large white hearts, pierced with a Cupid dart. Mrs. E. J. Williams presided at the organ, and wore an exquisite imported dress of pink Jusa cloth with lace. At 830 o’clock to the strains of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March………………… Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Smith were tendered an elaborate reception by Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Crum at their pretty home on Third street. Mr. and Mrs. Smith are at home to their friends at the residence of Miss Eva Sasnett on Third Street.
