Miss Land is one of the most admired young women in our section of the state. Her pride of ancestry is inherited from a distinguished old aristocratic family of ante-bellum days. Her charming personality, combined with rare musical talent, makes her quite a society favorite. Mr. Smith is one of Jackson’s most esteemed citizens.
