Lamon, of Macon, which was solemnized at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mollie Laseter, Wednesday Dec. 4th, at 3:30 p. m. The house was beautifully decorated with evergreen and ferns. The maid of honor was Miss Mary Mays, of Jackson. The matrons of honor were Mrs. O. B. Willis, of Jackson, and Mrs. J. W. Minter, of Flovilla. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Minter, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Pounds, of Flovilla, S. M. Pope, Miss LeVerte Pope, Troy Willis, Ossie Willis, Mrs. O. B. Willis and daughter. Miss Mary Mays, of Jackson; Dr. Shannon and Miss Sessions, of Cabaniss, Miss Daniel Homer and Earnest Lamon, of Macon. The ushers were Messrs. Troy Willis, S. M. Pope, of Jackson, and Mr. Bob Laseter, of Macon. The bride entered on the arm of her uncle, J. W. Minter, and was met at the altar by the groom, on the arm of his brother, Mr. Daniel Lamon. Rev. J. E. Pounds performed the ceremony very impressively. The happy couple left at once for an extended tour through Florida and to the Philippines.
