Middle Ga Argus
Pittman – Griffits

At the residence of Mr. J. J. Clay in Macon, Georgia on Tuesday, 20th inst., 
Mr. J. C. Pittman of this county to Miss Roxie Griffits of Cabanis, Monroe 
County.  The attendants were: Mr. H. H. Harvey, of Monticello, with Miss 
Jeannie Jackson, of Cabanis, and Mr. D. J. Spencer, of Jackson, with Miss Exie 
Griffits, of Cabanis.  The bridal party reparred to the Hotel Lanier where they 
spent the night.  On Friday they returned to Jackson and went immediately to 
the home of the groom’s mother, where an enjoyable reception was given.  Quite 
a crowd of the young people of Jackson attended the reception.  The Argus 
wishes the happy pair all the pleasures that life can afford.
