Goddard – Childs

At the residence of the bride’s father in  Monroe County, on Wednesday morning, 
Mr. L. W. Goddard, of this city, and Miss Emma Childs, were united in 
marriage.  The ceremony was performed by Dr. T. R. Kendall of this city.

The bride is a lovely and accomplished young land, the daughter of one of the 
most prominent and successful planters of Monroe County.   The groom is a 
popular and industrial young merchant, whose enterprise and perseverance is 
winning him success.
