Burdette - Trey

On Sunday morning last while the old folks were gone from home on a visit, Mr. 
Willie Burdette one of the most popular young farmers of Spalding County, 
quietly rode up to the front gate of Mr. Jeff Thomason where he was joined by 
Miss Kittie, the beautiful daughter of Mr. T. Trey, then rode to the residence 
of Rev. J. T. Kimbell where they were joined in the holy bands of wedlock.  We 
suppose the anger of the old people was somewhat warm when they returned to 
find that their daughter had stolen herself and run away, but all to no avail 
as it was too late.  We congratulate friend Willie in his success as that is 
the way we got “our gal.”
