The contracting parties were Miss Ola Pace and Mr. J.K. Jester. The wedding was a quiet, home affair and only relations and a few imitate friends were present. Rev. J. Howard Carpenter, the popular Baptist divine, performed the ceremony in a solemn and impressive manner. After the young couple had been pronounced man and wife and had received the hearty congratulations and good wishes from those present, the doors of the dining room were thrown open and the table was respendent in every delicacy appealing to the taste and palate of an epicure. It was a delightful and dainty repast and brought genuine good cheer to all. Shortly after the ceremony Mr. And Mrs. Jester, accompanied by many friends and relatives, repaired to the G. & A. Railroad where they took the train for Albany, which will be their future home. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. And Mrs. G. V. Pace, and has a host of friends in Dawson who wish her the greatest joy in her new life. Mr. Jester is one of our sister city’s popular and rising young citizens and is connected with the Albany Herald. The Dispatch extends best wishes for happiness and prosperity.
