Jackson Argus – Butts county, Week of December 24, 1897
Beauchamp – Spencer

At the home of the bride’s parents in this county last Sunday Mr. Clifford 
Beauchamp and Miss Annie Spencer were united in marriage.

These are two of the most popular young people in this section and deserve 
great happiness and success.

On Monday at noon an elegant dinner was served at the home of Sheriff 
Beauchamp, the bridegroom’s father, which was greatly enjoyed by the relatives 
and friends of the contracting parties.

Mrs. J. O. Beauchamp is one of Jackson’s noble women and she knows how to 
prepare dinner for extra occasions.  The party who were present last Monday 
will long remember the elaborate spread and the happy occasion it celebrated.
