Jackson Argus – Butts County, Week of April 8, 1898
Mayo –Upchurch

The following brief announcement from the Henry County Weekly will be a 
pleasing surprise to the many friends of the bridegroom in Jackson, and all 
tender their best wishes in advance.  The Weekly says:

Cards were issued last week announcing the marriage of Miss Carrie Upchurch of 
this city to Mr. Robert Mayo of Jackson, the ceremony to occur next Sunday, 
April 10th, at the residence of the bride’s parents. (Henry County Weekly)
