Butts County Progress
Vaughn – Washington
  The marriage of Miss Nolie Vaughn and Mr. Quenton Washington was of much 
interest in this vicinity.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. T. H. Vaughn at 
the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. T. J. Goddard.  The bride looked very 
pretty in her suit of blue broad-cloth trimmed in white.  After the ceremony 
the bridal party went to the groom’s father’s where a nice supper was served.  
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wlyley Manghum. The groom is a son of 
Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Washington.
